Barbour

Barbour cements itself in the market as being ‘quintessentially British’, and whilst it has built its name and success to a specific demographic, the brand is at a turning point to become more appealing to a wider audience. They have done a great job at this with collaborations such as GANNI X BARBOUR, and their fragrance roll out is another way to establish themselves in the accessible luxury market.

My work with Barbour fragrances is full 360 brand treatment, from packaging design, event space and POS design, to social and event activation and campaign. I have worked with Barbour from concept, working with master brand, to production with factory, and finally execution, with retailers.

Some notable work includes Barbour coastal, which included a location shoot with models on the coast on north east England, the home of Barbour, alongside a huge campaign and event on boats in the River Thames to support the launch.

The fragrance being inspired by a summer on the British coast, cemented its marketing and campaign resource in the lifestyle element involved with being a Barbour consumer. Our events have included boats and water activities, with cocktails made from notes in the fragrances.

For Barbour intense collection, we went to a location that featured each element per fragrance (grass for hHeritage, water for Coastal, and woodland for Origins), my role here was creating video content for social media and launch tease.

It appeared across hundreds of screens in retails stores across the world, and social channels such as @thefragranceshop .

Further roll out of brand rooms, paid social, marketing, event space design.

Our Origins launch also needed content creating, for marketing & social. We went into a studio ;location and created a woodland set up to first the seasonal profile of the scent. With a new launch additional support was required with CTU and FSDU designs for POS.
